- Centerline mounted to ease thermal expansion without jeopardizing the shaft alignment
- Wear rings and balance holes optimized to maximize seal and bearing life
- Extra heavy-duty shaft for low shaft deflection and long life of seal and bearings
- Cooling chamber easy to clean
- Low noise fan for high ambient or operating temperatures
ZE/ZF end suction pump range
Heavy-duty end suction pumps make light work of liquids
The ZE/ZF are ideal pumps for arduous industrial applications handling clean, cold or hot liquids, including hydrocarbons and light chemicals. The ZE/ZF pumps are industrial process pumps with a modular design to provide maximum interchangeability of spares.
- Booster pumps for medium size boiler feed water units in conventional thermal and combined cycle power stations
- Hot water circulation pumps in district heating plants and boiler circulation in industrial power generation
- Auxiliary pumps in conventional and renewable thermal power stations
- Main and auxiliary Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF) circulation in solar power stations
- Feed pumps, second pass pumps and Energy Recovery Device (ERD) circulation pumps in desalination by reverse osmosis
Main design features
- Enclosed impeller provided for lower Net Positive Suction Head Required (NPSHr)
- Self venting, centerline discharge
- Casing feet and baseplate designed to meet API 610 nozzle loads and moments and increased thermal expansion
- API 682 seal chambers
- Axial thrust bearings are back-to-back angular contact or taper roller for heavy-duty applications
