Refined product pipeline pumps are typically MSD or GSG.  The viscosity is much lower than crude oil, and the pipelines are much smaller than crude oil lines. The refined product lines fan out in all directions from refinery locations to multiple use points.  Power levels range from 1 to 4 MW typically.  Refined products are stored in tank farms.  Tank farm pumps are either SMH or vertical SJD/SJT pumps from 0.2 to 1 MW usually.

Products

  • CP horizontal radially split multistage barrel pump
CP ISO 13709 / API 610 Type BB5 radially split barrel casing pumps are used in both high-pressure oil production and high-temperature refinery applications.

  • GSG diffuser style barrel pump
The GSG pump is the least costly form of ISO 13709 / API 610 Type BB5 high-pressure barrel pumps. The GSG back-to-back rotor stack is supplied on low- density services where rotor stability is critical.

  • MSD axially split multistage pump
The MSD pump has the broadest hydraulic coverage of any BB3 type multistage pump in the market. There are over 10 000 MSD pumps installed in product pipelines, boiler feed, water injection and even nuclear safety-related services around the globe.

  • OHH overhung single stage pumps
The OHH is our API 610 (ISO 13709) type OH2 overhung, horizontal, centerline mounted, single stage, radially split process pump.

  • OHHL low flow high head pumps
The OHHL is our API 610 (ISO 13709) type OH2 low-flow horizontal overhung process pump. It covers the low-flow end of the OHH range map.

  • SJD-API vertically suspended process pump
The SJD-API are API 610 Type VS6/VS7 pumps whose design has evolved from many years of experience. They utilize Sulzer's low Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) 1st stage, followed by unique high head per stage series hydraulics, to minimize the number of stages required.
