Industrial wastewater treatment technologies
Our designs are the result of 35 years of refinements and 500+ installations
FRC joined the Sulzer Group in 2018, as part of the JWC Environmental acquisition, providing further synergy to the already strong water equipment portfolio. With FRC established in 1979 a strong company has been added, with a solid reputation by delivering on promises and relentlessly finding ways to improve the services. Up to date more than 500 wastewater treatment installations, in 20+ countries around the globe, have been installed.
SYSTEM ENGINEERING & DESIGN
With multiple wastewater streams, Sulzer relies on real-world experience to design and engineer a unique treatment program with the right equipment and compliant treatment process.
EQUIPMENT SUPPLY
Once the correct process has been defined, our engineering team selects & designs the best equipment for the job. Sulzer provides a full range from standalone equipment to fully integrated wastewater treatment solutions.
INSTALLATION & TRAINING
With our global network we ensure that equipment is properly installed and that operators are confident in running the new wastewater treatment system. We are always ready to provide additional support as required.
Yogurt production plant generating around 380 m3/d of wastewater with emulsified oils and milk proteins. A chemical flocculator breaks these emulsions and the DAF unit separates them from the effluent.
Biodiesel production plant generating around 300 m3/d of wastewater with solids, emulsified oils and fats. A chemical flocculator breaks these emulsions and the DAF unit separates the solids and oil from the effluent. Effluent is reused for the tank wash-down process
Soap production plant generating around 150 m3/d of wastewater with solids, emulsified oils and fats. A chemical flocculator breaks these emulsions and the DAF unit separates the solids and oil from the effluent. All Equipment constructed of 316SS.
Anaerobic digester plant generating biological excess sludge. A chemical flocculator concentrates the bio-sludge and the DAF unit separates the thickened sludge from the effluent.
The PCL Plate Pack DAF unit for large wastewater flowrates with low solids loading. The design maximizes effective surface area to allow fats, oil & solids to coalesce with air bubbles, without reentrainment in the wastewater.
Unit flowrates up to 450 m3/h. Effiective Area up to 288 m2.
The PWL Open Tank DAF unit for heavily solids-loaded wastewater. The design maximizes free surface area to allow solids to be separated without reentrainment in the wastewater.
Unit flowrates up to 235 m3/h. Free Area up to 47 m2.
The PCC compact DAF unit is the pinnacle of engineering efficiency. The design maximizes free and effective separation area within its compact frame. This allows for higher hydraulic and solids loading than other similarly sized DAF units.
The Corrugated Plate Interceptor for oily wastewater and heavy solids separation. The design maximizes effective surface area due to the integrated corrugated plate pack.
Unit flowrates up to 450 m3/h. Effiective Area up to 288 m2.
