- Molten Salt: We are the global leader in molten salt pumps, allowing superheated corrosive salts to be reliably transported for storage or power generation.
- Hydraulic Power Recovery Turbines (HPRTs): Based on our proven pumps, Sulzer HPRTs efficiently recover energy that would otherwise be lost.
- Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES): Our pumps perform optimally at facilities where energy is stored as compressed, liquid air, which is then expanded to gas to generate power.
- Pumped storage: Excess energy can be used to pump water to higher elevations, where it can be used to generate power, an application our efficient designs excel at.
