Directly off the shelf - centrifugal pumps for clean water
The end-suction centrifugal pumps SES and SKS meet the requirements of versatile water applications. The long-coupled pump SES and the close-coupled (monoblock) pump SKS are certified for drinking water.
Suitable for high-pressure applications with flanges in PN 10 and PN 16
“Back pull-out” design makes it possible to remove hydraulic parts without having to remove the pump body from the plant pipes
Dynamically balanced closed impeller to minimize radial loads and provide smooth rotation of impeller
Suction profile designed to reduce NPSH for trouble-free operation in demanding conditions
Stainless steel shaft designed to withstand the bending-torsion load
Oversized ball bearings provide reduced working noise and a long service life
Large selection of mechanical seals or gland packings (SES) configured according to the requirements of the fluid characteristics and conditions of use
Optional features
Easy replaceable wear rings to protect the pump body and the impeller (standard for larger sizes)
SES: Oil-lubricated bearings with a constant level oil feeder
Global climate changes are affecting agriculture around the world, with some areas receiving increased rainfall, while others are experiencing a marked drop. Farmers in those drier regions are compensating for the change by installing irrigation systems, often on an extensive scale. However, large irrigation schemes often require big pumps, driving up energy costs and increasing agriculture-related carbon emissions. Both new and existing installations can benefit from engineering expertise to ensure pumping systems deliver optimum performance and minimized running costs.
Wherever fluids are pumped, mixed, controlled or applied, we are there. See how our solutions create value for customers and learn how we can make your pumping and mixing processes more efficient and profitable, safeguarding your production and ensuring lasting reliability.
Getting drinking water to all parts of a distribution network involves many challenges along the way. From the water treatment plant through pumping stations and beyond, Sulzer pumps lift and move the drinking water to bring it to its destination at sufficient flow and pressure.
When planning new water treatment plants or upgrading existing ones, operating costs are as important as investment costs. Sulzer’s innovative pumps, mixers and compressors combine reliable treatment performance with superior energy efficiency.
