Sulzer has developed a completely new KnitMesh mist eliminator for corrosive services. Our new Sulzer KnitMesh product line, XCOAT™, is based on a metal wire that is coated with 100% pure PFA. This new material is unique and available exclusively at Sulzer.

Sulzer KnitMesh XCOAT™ separators are characterized by an extremely high resistance to deform, corrosion and temperature, and are therefore ideal for applications that have to deal with acids, such as sulfuric acid.
The advantage of a longer service time of the Sulzer KnitMesh XCOAT™ mist eliminator compared to common mesh pads using Teflon filaments or higher alloyed and acid-resistant steel wires has already been demonstrated impressively in several industrial applications.
