Process

Introducing EvapCare™-F, the ultimate solution for gently processing temperature-sensitive products with unmatched precision. Powered by the Marangoni effect, our advanced technology leverages surface tension gradients to ensure perfect wettability on the tube surface, delivering even liquid distribution, preventing dry spots, and minimizing product degradation.

Designed with your product’s integrity in mind, EvapCare™-F utilizes vacuum and short residence times along the heated surface to prevent secondary reactions, preserving your product’s organoleptic properties. Ideal for low-viscosity products with minimal fouling tendencies, EvapCare™-F features a proprietary liquid distribution device that guarantees uniform liquid flow across all tubes. Gravity drives the product as a continuous film along the tube length, optimizing efficiency and maintaining quality.

Our system typically operates with co-current flow, where liquid and vapors move smoothly from top to bottom, separated by a gas-liquid separator at the end of the tube bundle. For counter-current applications, such as stripping or when used as a reboiler in distillation columns, the separator is not needed.

Distribution system

Our distribution is a two-stage system, featuring high accuracy and a wide operating range. The optimum sizing is achieved with our proprietary design tool.

In the first stage, process liquid enters EvapCare™-F through the inlet feed pipe and is directed to the top liquid distributor. The distributor then delivers the liquid to the tube sheet. It is itself equipped with many drip points to ensure the generation of an even and calm static liquid height outside the tubes.
